I have posted two articles in net.politics. One is a plea for
rational discussion of the nuclear vs other-options issues (which
is why I didn't post it to net.flame), the other a list of about
80 papers and notes that have appeared in "Science" on the issues
in the last 8 years or so.  A reading of some of these articles
might help some posters to modify their extreme positions, whether
they be pro-nuclear or anti-nuclear.  If energy problems are not
solved rationally, net.flame (and the rest of the net and the world)
may well go up in smoke.
