A state court has ruled that (in that state) police authorities can use evidence collected via listening to a wireless telephone (that was using the FM *broadcast* [88-108 Mhz] band) in a court case. It is not clear how this affects wireless phones that do NOT use the FM broad- cast band (most don't), cellular radio systems, or the like. Still, anybody who discusses illegal activities over a wireless or mobile telephone clearly deserves to be caught -- this might help to weed some of the mental deficients out of the general population. I think that we can generally expect the powers that be to rule against individuals' use of aired materials, and in favor of usage laws that benefit corporate financial interests or government activities. I'm not saying whether I consider this to be good or bad -- just that I expect to see it continue to occur. --Lauren--
