In my opinion, this one steps over the thin line between "informative message" and "money-making advertising". Now, before anyone proposes the "benefit to folks on the network" argument, I would like to point out that this message explicitly states that "...Aimed at high level marketing and technical folks (detailed technical discussions will *not* be presented)..." I invite speculation on the ratio of technical-people-who-read-news to marketing-people-who-read-news, and thus, the applicability of this forum to the network readership at large. The list of topics (which I will not repeat here) bears out the promise of the above statement. And then they have the gall to post the price and the contact phone number!! ARGH!! Well, I *used* to recommend their book...time to patronize S.R. Bourne and Mssrs.
