However he also says: "The net is a strange creature and is experiencing tremendous growth. Mark shows respect for its history and traditions, and foresight in anticipating its needs tomorrow." "History and traditions"???!!! And just how long has the net been around. I don't even question that the net actually does have "history and traditions". I merely note the jarring effect (upon myself at least) of the notion that anything as young as the net could already have such things.
