Second, I need a player for Gavalin. I've sent mail out to several folks who wanted to be alternates, but I suspect path changes have prevailed. If you want to run Gavalin, and you're willing to get a Rolemaster (TM of ICE) set, let me know. I may soon need a player for Balinor, if dwb does not contact me soon. Now. To the move. ======== Bjarney unstrings his mandolin and starts playing "Ripple". As he begins to play, the entire party notices a warming trend in the air. After the first verse, the fountain appears completely unfrozen, and the slope down (and then up) to the west appears covered with vegitation. There is a faint, but visible path heading to the west, just where the King's map seems to indicate that the path to Erinsfell should be. (The party had previously noticed that the terrain didn't exactly match the map, but now it appears to match very well.) As the path becomes more evident, Trylla encourages the party to head down the path. As they do, several things become evident: 1) Both Ayudante and Gavalin notice that the path seems to lie along a geological feature, between several mountain peaks. (One behind them, and one ahead) 2) As they head on down the path, all notice that the perception of warmth seems to fade, but that the scenery seems to remain intact. At the same time, the bitter cold of the path from the south does NOT return. 3) Gavalin, doing his thing with his pendulum again, notices that it is now definately swinging in a direction, in fact, it is swinging back and forth along the path they are riding on, and is quite consistant, even to the point of returning to that axis when deliberately perturbed. As Bjarney finishes singing the song, and catches his breath, the Trylla and Izugami notice that something happens. As the party heads across a level part of the path, they notice a small party of tall humanoids coming down from the other direction. These humanoids are tall, thin, armed (although not reaching for their arms), and whistling cheerfully.
