The staff of cancellation is useful for fighting things like N's,L's and
maybe a few of the other creatures with magical attacks. Give them a good
shot with the staff and they're just like anything else (i.e. no more 
magical attack). Does anyone know how many creatures this works on?

Anyone now what really happens when you read the scroll that gives you
the message "You have a feeling of loss"?
