Someone reported about a month ago that if you try to save a game 20 times it will ALWAYS blow up. This appears to be true. When I tested that theory out I noticed that even if you don't make a move between successive saves, the size of the save file increases. At some point this blows up the game. Other probably related problems I have had with games that I have saved include: a) Infinite loops while printing out the inventory. b) Items dissappearing from my pack. c) Inventory display messing up completely, garbage characters all over the place. This can be a real pain when you have a winning game and you starve to death because the program won't let you remove a ring of healing.
