	Could someone please help me.  I've been playing rogue for some
time on 3.4 and recently we got 4.22.  I was always fairly good, but I
never won.  In both versions I have been having serious problems with
Uhulks.  I've been reading the messages about them, but does anyone have a
good method of getting rid of them?  Unless you have a scroll of detect
monster, genocide, scare or hold monster, or confusion, a potion of 
blindness, a staff of cancellation, and an unfair portion of luck, it 
seems impossible.  Either post or mail.  Thanks.
