The ring of adornment As far as I can tell, it makes you look pretty. No more, no less. Monsters do not seem to be swayed by beauty, either. 2. The uses for the wand of invisibility It makes the monster you zap invisible. Anyone for an invisible dragon? 3. The ring of protection This increases the protective power of your armor. A person with +5 plate (armor class 12 in 5.3) and a ring of +2 protection has an effective armor class of 14, which is nice for beating up on just about anything. 4. The ring of dexterity This increases the chance of your weapon hitting something you swing at. A +3,+3 two handed sword with a ring of dexterity of +2 gives you an effective +5,+3 weapon (nice thing to have with +14 armor). 5. The ring of increase damage This increases the damage of your weapon. Assuming the same sword, a +2 ring of increase damage gives you a +3,+5 weapon. chuq -- From under the bar at Callahan's: Chuq Von Rospach {amd70,fortune,hplabs,menlo70}!nsc!chuqui (408) 733-2600 x242 Never give your heart to a stranger, unless you are sure that you are dead.
