It's actually rather boring to type a half dozen characters and have a 15th level character with 130 hit points, +9 plate, and +5 +5 two handed sword, and 10 potions of extra healing (or whatever...). Especially when you are still on level 1 of the dungeon (take that, you bat! Whap!). When I played with the wizard features, the only fun I ever had was to go to level 25, find a dragon, and offer it two free hits.
