"Ma Belle Amie" was recorded by a Dutch group called the Tee Set (Colossus 107).
An American record executive, Jerry Ross, licensed several Dutch hits and
released them here on his Colossus label early in 1970.  (You may also remember
Shocking Blue and the George Baker Selection).  He had considerable (if brief)
success; oldies fans refer to this, somewhat jokingly, as the "Dutch Invasion".
