Some time ago, I remember reading about spider plants and what causes the tips of the leaves to turn brown. Believe it or not, the biggest cause was over- fertilizing them! Over-watering can also be a factor. I now add plant food to my spiders every 6 weeks instead of once a month, and I can see a difference. You should also be sure the leaves aren't touching the glass in a window, if you have them there. Glass gets cold in the winter and warm in the summer, and this could also bother the leaves. Anita K.
