We are having a problem using emacs on vt102's at this site.  The
documentation for the vt102 says that it is compatable with the
vt100, but every time that a screen redraw/clear occurs, emacs
flashes to the status line with the message:

Search for:

Apparently there is an extra ^S being sent someplace that is not
being handled correctly.  Does anyone know how to take care of this
problem?
