He is particularly well qualified in the software and hardware aspects of computer communications, computer graphics, and microprocessors, having held positions as system designer and developer, software development manager, technical vice president, and entrepreneur. Ron's experience includes positions and contracts with The Ford Motor Company, ADP Network Services, Inc. (formerly The Cyphernetics Corporation), Lowry Computer Products, Inc. (formerly Lowry & Associates, Inc.), Digital Graphics Inc., Printronix, Inc., Western Digital, Inc. and The Industrial Technology Institute. As a system designer and developer, he has been responsible for hardware and software aspects of a proprietary computer communications network serving as a front end for a major timesharing company. He has also developed software for a microprocessor-based multiprocessor real-time pipeline control system and a computer-aided design system for dot-matrix character sets. He has also managed programmers and created research and development plans. A graduate of Dartmouth College with an A.B. in Mathematics, Ron was instrumental in creating communications front ends for the pioneering timesharing systems created there while he was an undergraduate.
