During my campus tour, a student told me that about 1/3 of the freshman class had scored 800 on the Math SAT (as I had) and that the majority of 800 scorers in the U.S. went there. I was accepted but didn't go (no housing for transfers that year), so I have no idea whether this is true or not. Can any alumni from that era confirm this?
