NO!  Solder the (penny,quarter,rial,pfennig,whatever) to a nail and then
drive it into the (wooden) floor. . . only works for such floors, but it
is MUCH more effective than glue.  (before you nail the sucker in, cover
the coin with cloth, to avoid give-away marring.)
