There may have been a single DESIGNER, but the IMPLEMENTATION was surely
done by committee--and they didn't invite the designer to be a member.

Isn't it obvious that the designer specified simple, elegant principles
(1/r^2 gravity, mixing the gene pool, ...) and the implementers were
left to do the best they could?  I mean, what did we end up with?
Uncountable gravitons skittering all over the place, and quantum
chromodynamics;  pornography, the cosmetics industry, and net.singles!
