Here it is repeated for your collective mirth or horror, depending upon your point of view: A gentleman called this morning with a question about our System 83/80 which reflected some ignorance: "We're running one of your programs here, and, is it written in C or UNIX?" Our customer service dept. then duly explained the difference between C (a programming language) and UNIX (an operating system).
