I usually allow an egotist-clearing period of one week. If it's still
funny then and I haven't seen it posted, then it's probably worth posting.

[Almost like my algorithm for some of the more heated newsgroups,
wherein I collect material for a week, study it over, then post. Works
especially well because of our location (coming off the decvax->decwrl
news feed) - an article posted at one of the Lab (no pun) sites could be
followed up on several times before it reached qubix. Also tends to
reduce the volume contributed.]
