When he unrolls it, he gets (mild) negative feedback ("that was BAD, now roll it back up"). This has only happened a couple of times. When he rolls it back up or otherwise rolls it in the harmless direction, he gets positive feedback ("GOOD boy!"). The result seems to be that he gets his curiosity out rolling it in the good direction, and seems satisfied with that. I have no idea whether this would work with another child, but it's worked amazingly well in Matt's case. Mark
