(One process has the write fd, the other has the read fd and the write process forks again; there are now two write file descriptors to the one read. Is there any way for the read process to now detect that there are two processes writing to it?) -- Jeremy Sanders {spike|rocky2|philabs|pegasus|esquire|cucard}!aecom!{sanders|jsanders|sander}
