but that wouldn't work even if it weren't a cross-device link on our
system.

Howzabout posting National Enquirer TOC in net.rumor?  If they object over
there (as they likely will), it can be moved to net.jokes.

OK, OK, I can take a joke.  At least someone posted a Skeptical Inquirer
TOC to atone for it...
