The flaw in the slaw is that the teaching of uniform
arithmetical concepts is an A Priori agreed upon idea
in the society where you live that is necessary for
day to day operations.  If I have my checking account
at Bozo Bank and Trust Co. up in Shakerag, Ga. and I
keep track of my money with 2 + 2 = 5, well there's
going to be a problem.  However, whether I believe I
came from slime or my origins are divine will have no
practical effect on me or the teller when I stand at
his/her window to cash my check.
