That is, they do not induce chemical changes in the body. Physically addictive drugs include alcohol, caffeine, opium derivatives, barbiturates, and maybe some stimulants. Barbiturate withdrawal can be so severe that it causes death. Yes, the *WITHDRAWAL* can cause death, not to mention usage of these drugs. Bob
