Lines: 15 I'm not a net.micro reader, so please mail me your responses... I have some friends who are looking into a buying an Apple IIe for text editing and financial folder applications. There's this deal that includes a dual-disk Apple IIe with (I think) 128K memory, monitor, 80-column board, for 1700 dollars. I think the disks are single side, single density. Is this a good deal, a rip-off, or just average? Any comments about the likelihood of needing to buy more stuff, like drives/controllers? Send those cards and letters to...
