They could appreciate the wonder of the Mac faster than the "users" (non-novice but non-wizard). Having been involved with computers for 30 years now, I found myself with that quick "This is a real machine -- it's RIGHT" reaction. After 6 weeks of using one, my main finding is that now my writings have many more figures in them and are easier to read.
