It is hard enough trying to get your moneys worth in the present market. It is not illegal to read a book and then pass it on or trade it to a friend for one of his books. The same goes for any other product. You only break the law if you sell or barter copies or retain a illegal copy for your own use. Granted, it is difficult to enforce the laws on copyrights, but the laws are fair. It is irresponsible to automatically assume that any trade of software envolves illegal copying or any other illegal act. THIS IS THE U.S.A As mentioned in other notes.
