I am looking for revision control tools that Intel can use or 
purchase for use by our software engineers.  The tools must run
on Unix or Xenix.

I am interested in information about:

	*  RCS 
	*  SCCS 
	*  other revision control tools

I would greatly appreciate receiving comments about RCS and SCCS: your 
experiences, known bugs, existing extensions, and needed enhancements.  

RCS and SCCS seem to be the most widely used tools, but I would like 
very much to hear about other commercial or academic tools.

Here are some of the problems I have:

	*  installing revision control on a local network
	*  integrating revision control and configuration management
	*  ensuring bullet-proof, crash-proof, and invasion-proof 
	   operation

I will post a summary of the non-confidential information I receive.
