Message-ID: <392@houxt.UUCP> Date: Tue, 24-Apr-84 10:28:34 EST Article-I.D.: houxt.392 Posted: Tue Apr 24 10:28:34 1984 Date-Received: Wed, 25-Apr-84 04:33:39 EST Organization: ATT Information Systems, Holmdel NJ Lines: 13 I have obtained [legally] some software on 8 inch floppies (3740 format) for my PC. Now, I'm getting some 8" drives, but apparently the software needed to run these drives is a scarce beast (according to my local hardware dealer). This seems hard to believe, since the drives are being produced and I have 8" floppies in hand. Am I missing something, or does CPM have this built-in (and I only need special software for PC-DOS)???? I've checked with the Xenocopy people, and they may have something on the market in a few weeks to do this, but ... Any insight would be appreciated. Thanx Ihor Kinal houxt!ijk
