The presentation graphics system you saw from Polaroid is most likely
their "Palette" (tm)  system.  Polaroid supplies a low-cost (approx
$1500?) graphics CRT-camera and driver software to allow a personal
computer with color graphics capability to create either
35-mm slides or Polaroid prints from computer-generated graphics.

It is available in models for the DEC Rainbow computer as well as
other pc's.  On the Rainbow, supporting software includes Graphwriter (tm),
Signmaster (tm), and Chartmaster (tm).
