I now have /D0 (Shack) set for 37 tracks, and /D1 (tandon) for 40. Some RS drives can hack more tracks than others, or so I've heard. To find out how many yours can do, just try patching D0 for 40 tracks; FORMAT a scratch disk and see if it goes all the way; if not, try 39 & repeat, etc. (You may need to reset Coco when formatting fails, & reboot). To change # tracks: debug l d0 (or whatever drive) . .+18 (should print out 23) =25 (decimal 37., etc.) q Once it's good, COBBLER and VERIFY new boot. And yes, it's worth it for just 2 more tracks...mike k
