Apple has a Certified Developer program for Macintosh 
and Lisa (and one for //e & ///) developers.  There is no 
charge for joining the program.  Certified Developers are 
elegible for substantial discounts on Macs and Lisas; for 
example, a Macintosh w/ printer costs $1667; Lisas are 
discounted about 30%.  Delivery is quoted at 3-4 weeks.  
Systems cannot be resold for one year and must be used to 
develop products which will be resold for use on Apples; 
there are some restrictions on the number of systems you can 
order.
