Later someoe told me NOT to apply the U-clamp to the cable AND the metal tab (as shown in the Apple book) but only to the metal tab. He said tha, when he assembled it as in the instructions, he pinched the cable, shorting two wires and "blowing a chip" on the drive PCC board. Can anyone confirm or deny this?
