I'm interested in using it with a Hayes modem to talk to UNIX in place of Ascii-Express which I use now. It would be nice to be in the shell editing a file and then send it to UNIX without having to re-boot and start Ascii- Express every time. I also wish to retreive files from UNIX of course. A version of umodem that works with Aztec system would be very nice too. Secondly is anyone using the Pro-DOS version of Aztec ? How does it perform and is it compatible with the previous versions ? Is a directory translation program provided either with Aztec or Pro-DOS ? What clock (if any) are you using ? How much does the Pro-DOS version cost and do they have an upgrade price ?
