Tried both the 'C' mode and the 'M' mode after 'tagging'. In both cases it worked fine -- no bug apparent. While I doubt that it makes any difference, I have set the vales at the beginning of the program that highlight the bits in the directory name that are set by R/O, SYS, or what have you. (Correct 'vales' 2 lines above to read 'values'). I'm running standard CPM2.2 with ZCPR2. FYI. Eric
