Cleveland, Ohio Lines: 16 I tried to set up a 'hot key' for dial out from a PC through a teltone->micom_switch->ventel_modem_bank connection. For some reason, my mods to the PC-talk Basic source to insert the appropriate response strings don't seem to work. A PC-talk programmed 'function key' inserts some of the strings. Getting to the modem and dialing the number are the problems. The phone number on the function key is not recognized at all. Does anybody have any solutions or suggestions? What are the issues involved other than read/write to the COM port? borgia!decvax!cwruecmp borgia.Case@rand-relay
