It has its own interrupt driven comm line handler. It supports XMODEM protocol for accessing BBSs and for error free data transfer to/from UNIX(tm). It also has 'scripts' for automatically logging onto systems and if you have a VENTEL modem, it will dial a list of numbers will it get a connection.
