That they are meant to be obvious. You people are really behind the times. Around Naperville the only police cars they buy anymore are the camoflague painted traffic enforcement units (revenue cars, not patrol cars) that are specially designed for hiding under rocks and bushes. And of course, we still have many undercover traffic enforcement cars. I think that the only time they use old-fashioned cruisers anymore is for giving the tickets a half mile down the road after the unmarked have gotten you for 38 in a 35. Actually for $50 and court supervision. (The reason for court supervision is so that you won't lose your lisence with three moving violations... then how could the police department show a profit.)
