    How many people have noticed how "Emergency" is lettered backwards
    on the front of some emergency vehicles - so it is legible in the
    rear-view mirror of the car in front of them!  (how's that for a
    pointless discussion?)

Actually, one of the more disturbing tricks my mind tends to play
on me is when I look at the front of an ambulance whizzing by, read
"Emergency", and 5 steps later realize that it was written sdrawkcab!
