Here's one more vote for net.music.classical.  My 'n' key hasn't worn out 
yet, but it gets more than enough abuse from other groups without needing 
to wade through tons of "My favorite guitarist" and "Next topic, please" 
messages in search of the occasional gem on Bax, Mahler, or maybe even
Geminiani.
