Who is the little man that appears for the first time (as
far as I could tell) in the second half of the movie, acting
?s if he too was raised in the jungle.  He makes his first 
appearance in the scene, in which Jane is teaching Tarzan to
dance.  Near the end he appears again to be whipped by the  man
with the red car.

     Did I miss some cue?  Who is this strange creature? Thanks
for your help.
