The second annual "PICK THE OSCARS" contest was a success. Almost 50 people took a shot at predicting the Academy Award winners, more than last year. But out of all those people, only 1 had ALL categories correct. As a net, all but 1 category was chosen by the average entrant, that being director, where the net chose Ingmar Bergman by a 1 vote margin. If you missed the show last night, or fell asleep during it, the winners were: Best Actor - Robet Duvall Best Actress - Shirley MacLaine Best Sup Actor - Jack Nicholson Best Sup Actor - Linda Hunt Best Director - James Brooks Best Picture - Terms of Endearment 5 people had 5 out of 6 right. The runners-up were: Jeffrey Meyer, Russ Pierce, Pamela McGarvey, Lynelle Schneeberg and utcsrgv!mendel AND THE WINNER IS Terence P O'Coin !! Congrats, Terence.
