The oft-mentioned Dead Kennedys are a prime example. Besides being loud and fast and having disgustingly obnoxious lyrics, their music (hold the snickers please!) also offer some revealing social commentaries the like of which haven't been heard since Bob Dylan got "born-again." At the end of "Fresh Fruit for Rotting Vegetables" is an Elvis Presley cover ("Viva Las Vegas") done up in the best Jello Biafra snarl, which is all the more ironic considering the Elvis that did THAT song: rich, fat, and full of drugs.
