My, my.  Michael Ellis is certainly getting his fair share of abuse. 

Relax, Michael.  Those of us who know what the term "new wave" really
means (as coined by a coked-up record company exec) know exactly what
you meant and say "Bravo!"  Those who don't will continue to listen to
the likes of Billy Idol, Schlock of Feagulls, The Fixx, and other
"interesting" (by Billboard--profit motive standards) new wave music.

Notice that NO ONE who complained about the "foul language" in your
article chose to alter their subject line to delete the filthy hideous
word you put in it.  I'm referring, of course, to the word "attentio",
which is an unusual form of oro-podal self-copulation engaged in by people
who submit articles to the net...
