Zappa is not god, though he is certainly a candidate for sainthood.
Not only punk 15 years before its time, but musically literate too.

Punks who are too ill-educated to do any more than scream some
variant of "life sure sucks" to 2-chord harmony would do well to
listen to "Freak Out" or "We're Only In It For The Money" a few
times before deluding themselves into thinking they have anything
useful to contribute.

Who could imagine that they would freak out in Washington DC?
