Call me weird if you like. Anyway, all I could think of on short notice was this: What Mahler work (chapter and verse) is quoted in Tom Lehrer's song, "Alma" ? (Alma was Alma Mahler-Werfel, a truly amazing woman, as Mr. Lehrer, in his inimitable way, relates.)
