Hi,
	Welcome to net.net-people.  Please use this group for announcements
of birth, marriage, address change, path requests, re-union messages
and the like; i.e. personal matters regarding the net community.

	I realise that the name is unfamiliar.  This was originally
proposed as net.people.  However, it was pointed out to me that a
different meaning of net.people was being discussed in net.women .
In order to avoid confusion and to make the purpose of the group
self-evident, I decided on net.net-people.

	The decision was unilateral, but the need for the group was
apparent.  Besides, the name has a nice ring to it (net-people as in
unix-wizards).

	Anyhow, the group is here.  Please use it.
