Well, maybe I should ask Mark Stein (but he's busy), but does 'notes' understand posting responses to the correct (i.e., original) distributions? If not, we could be opening up some security problems, as we use notes HEAVILY here with fs.* groups to talk about dirty laundry... In fact, I don't see how to get 'notes' to set the distribution even on an original article (base note). (Aha! Easy quick test! If this response gets outside ba.*, then notes is NOT copying the distributions properly. Any non-Bay-Area readers please mail a short hello?)
