Every once in a while vnews will insert an extra comma into someone's
.newsrc file.  This causes checknews to proclaim that there is news when
there really isn't.  The following example just happened to a colleague
mine.

	net.micro.pc: 1-189,191-1313

As he pointed out when he reported it to me, article 190 is not even on our
system any more.

Any one have any ideas?
