Center, Univ. of Texas at Austin Lines: 12 several times in the past, I've seen messages to new groups with a name just one letter different from an existing group. the latest example, which floated just by me, is "net.periph". As "net.periphs" already exists, I begin to wonder. Are there news-versions out there, which will create a new group automatically under some/all conditions? I can't belief that the authors of the articles in question created new groups, it has happened too often already for that.
